Potty Training Blues

So I am switching Jordan back to cloth diapers gradually over the next couple weeks. I am hoping it will encourage her to potty train. I swear this girl just doesn't want to have a thing to do with her potty chair. She doesn't like to have a wet diaper so she tells us after she wets but it is a whole other issue with poop. She prefers to hide to poop and then she proceeds to extract the mess from her diaper and use it as finger paint on whatever she happens to be standing near. Ewwww! I'm hoping she decides to potty train in the next few months, or at least before Sean has to start CLEET and is gone all the time. I'm also hoping to switch Eden to cloth diapers soon, I'll have to buy her more diapers though since I only have a few fitteds her size and so it will have to wait until we have some extra money. Maybe next month. I think I might go ahead and sell a few of Jordan's cloth diapers to fund some for Eden, we'll see. Anyhoo, here's to hoping Jordan decides to use her potty chair soon! Oh and to hoping Isaac decides he can wipe his own booty, we have been working on it and making some progress so maybe soon he won't be calling for us every time he poops! lol!

I found love in a smile.

I managed last night, in an incredibly sleep deprived and drugged up state, to stay awake for about 15 minutes after nursing Eden. I just watched her sleep for a little while and it was absolutely beautiful. She was so content with her tummy full and her diaper changed and as she drifted off to sleep again she kept giving me sweet little grins and every time I felt my heart swell with love for this perfect tiny little person. Amazing! I am so in love with her!

i HATE cleaning house

Okay so here's the deal, I need to clean my house, like really, REALLY need to clean my house. It isn't so much that the house looks messy, it just looks cluttered and unorganized mostly. But the problem lies in that we never finished the unpacking when we moved in here and therefore every closet in the place is stuffed with boxes and bags of stuff. Then since my closets are full of that I have nowhere to put the stuff that should be in the closets, it is a vicious cycle. So I am making it my goal to get this place in order over the next week, or 2, or at least by the end of the month. I thought actually posting this goal might help motivate me to get up off my rump and get the job done, but so far......nope.....no motivation. Honestly I find myself racking my brain for something else to blog about just so I don't have to get up and clean. Ugh.....

Hello to Nobody

So it seems like everyone I know has a blog now; I am finally joining in. Yes, that's right, I'm giving in to the peer pressure and following the crowd, I guess this blogging stuff is the hip thing to do nowadays. My only problem is coming up with anyone who would be interested in reading a blog by me. What does that say about me as a person? I'm not sure.
